Technical Specifications
VettaLux relies on the following technologies for accessibility:
- HTML5 with semantic elements (nav, main, header, footer, article, section)
- Form inputs with associated labels and error descriptions
We are actively working to improve our use of WAI-ARIA roles, prefers-reduced-motion support, and screen reader compatibility across all components.
Known Limitations
While we strive for full accessibility, some areas may have limitations:
- Some third-party content (maps, payment forms) may not fully meet WCAG 2.1 AA
- PDF documents uploaded by providers may not be fully accessible
- Some older user-generated content may lack alt text for images
We are actively working to resolve these issues and improve accessibility across all areas of the platform.
Feedback & Assistance
We welcome your feedback on the accessibility of VettaLux. If you experience any difficulty accessing any part of this website, or if you have suggestions for improving accessibility, please contact us:
If you need assistance using our platform, we are happy to provide alternative access methods including phone-based support for account creation, search assistance, and provider contact facilitation.
Assessment & Remediation
VettaLux conducts accessibility assessments including:
- Automated testing with Lighthouse and axe-core on every deployment
- Keyboard-only navigation testing
We are actively working to expand our testing program to include manual screen reader testing, systematic color contrast verification, and third-party accessibility audits.
